So, my internet was down yesterday, along with our cable and phone, which annoyed me cause I had homework to do online (and I didn't get home till late and didn't know it was out till I got home;_;). They came and fixed it this morning. For the last few weeks, people have been working on our street (and will be for awhile i.e. months/years). Apparently, they yanked the line that goes from the street to the box on the house for our service. It was fixed just before I had to leave for class. Yay, teacher extended homework due date~! Got it done!
I haven't had Geology yet but I've had my other classes. I like my MTH teacher! Yay! She's really honest. She even complained about how the collage does the MTH classes.
Teacher: "This class is harder then the higher level class you will be taking after this."
Class: "What? That makes no sense."
Teacher: "Yeah. I wanna fix that. Fail this class and try next semester! Until then, we suffer together!"
She's also not the type that goes, "OMG you are so going need everything you will learn in this class in rl".
Philosophy(which until I got the book I kept thinking was Psychology even though I knew I when I signed up for it I was signing up for Philosophy^^'.) is going to a fun class. The teacher is really cool~. It was funny when he went to assing the homework.
Teacher: "Read pages 1-45 and answer the question on Page 9, 10, and 11."
Student: -looks in book- "There are no questions on those pages."
Teacher: "What? Let me see that. -looks at book- This isn't the same book. Do you all have this? -class nods- She changed the book on me!"
After he looked at the book, he decided he liked this one better but still was in shock. One student tried asking him something and he said, "Wait a minute, I'm still in shock here over the book. Give me a little bit to recover."
Intro to business, even though the teacher didn't make much of an impression me (good or bad) some of student sure did~. We have a few talkative, loudmonths in the class (amusing ones thoughX).
I type all this happy yay stuff now but I'm sure by midterms I'll be complainingXD.
Got baby pics from Michic~. Say hello to Rion Angeal Thomas.
That's all for now, will edit this post after Geology tomorrow~.
Edi 8/27t: So, Geology Thursday was interesting. I liked listening to the teacher talk, he's kind of like those teacher who, at times, make a joke but not everyone gets it. Oddly enough he used to work as a petroleum geologist (looked for/examined oil sites) and now he teaches Environmental Geology. I'll be an interesting class I think.
