I think the manga would become even harder to follow, since Hoshino's way of drawing faces has become very... generalized. ^^; But man, it makes me giggle.

(Pfff, when you say "Lover Boy," the L'Arc~en~Ciel song pops into my head.) At least the not having to worry part seems like a nice change! I'm still really glad to hear that your mom finally found someone else. :D
